Long Glass Fiber Extrusion
Long glass fiber can reach a few centimeters(6-25mm), that is, it will be longer after forming, so the enhancing effect is more obvious. And, its strength and toughness will be significantly improved. Recently, long-staple fiber reinforced thermoplastics (LFT) have been relatively hot, There are PP + LGF, PA + LGF, etc., of which PP + LGF is more popular.
There are two different ways of granulation, one is to use wire and cable as glass fiber wrapped, we call it Long Glass Fiber Impregnation Extrusion in the industry. Another one is glass fiber and resin dispersed bonding, we call it Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Modification Extrusion.
