Water Cooling Strand Pelletizing System
Water cooling strand pelletizing system is suitable for most polymer compounding production, such as masterbatch granulation, PP, PA glass fiber reinforced granulation, polyolefin (PP, PE) and its blending granulation, etc.
In the water cooling strand pelletizing system, the plastic melt first will come from the die head and pass through a water bath where it is cooled and turned solid. Then, the air knife will wipe the residual water on the surface. The dried and solidified strands will be pulled into the pelletizer at a constant line speed to get roughly cylindrical pellets, which can be subiected to post-treatment, for example, classifying, additional cooling, drying, and conveying.
